The hospitality is second to none but the rooms are really tired. I stayed earlier this year and had the same room I have had for the past 8 years. The room i had this time was very smelly and damp. I asked to be changed which was done right away but still the room was not of the quality... more

This was our 2nd trip to Bangkok to do some shopping, our first trip we went with a group, this trip was just my daughter and myself on a stop over from Ireland. Stayed here by myself, overnight stay in Bangkok before flight the next day. My friend and I stayed at the Montien for 8 nights in February 08. Our stay was great. Lovely staff. Nice big room. Great location. Superb breakfasts. Nice enough pool. Would absolutely stay there again on our next trip. It was more than i had expected. more
