We stayed there twice during this trip. Each lasted three nights. These are in-between traveling out of town. The first three nights we stayed in superior rooms. The 2nd three nights due to no more superior rooms, we moved to deluxe rooms. We thought we enjoyed it fine already with the superior rooms value -wise. But the deluxe blew us... more

The Rama Garden hotel is just of the old airport. Most flights are now directed to the brand new airport at the other side of Bangkok, so the noise from airplanes flying over is minimal. I didn't hear any during my 5-day stay. The hotel is situated outside the city center, you have to grab a cab for every move... more

I stayed in this hotel only last week on my way to Vietnam where I actually am writing this from at the moment. The hotel is close to the airport and has 3restaraunts a bar and a spa area and pool. The beds are comfy and the bathroom was clean ,we ordered roomservice at 2am(damm jetlag and the food and... more

I see all these bad reviews on Rama Gardens and feel the need to put things straight. I know the hotel better than any other around the world as have stayed there at least 20 times. The hotel has two wings - old and new. Many int'l airlines make their cabin crew stay there, due to to the fact it... more

It is also close to the airport, nice if you have a early flight in the morning. Breakfast starts from 5.30am. more

Stayed one night in this hotel with my partner and two friends. The complimentary airport shuttle was right on time when we came out of the airport, so that was appreciated. The reception desk staff were very busy, lots of airline staff checking in and out which indicated to us straight away that despite the grandeur, it was an airport... more

Stayed there twice this month. The staff at reception do not seem to be sure of things. Their standard of English was poor and hence sounded rude. One was yawning away rather then welcoming the guests. The postive side is that it is close to the airport. more

I stayed at the Rama Gardens 2 times in March 2006. It is less than 10 minutes from the Bangkok Airport and is a good choice if you need a modern hotel that is conveniently locate for catching early morning flights. The lobby is large and looks good. There are two buildings and the condition of the rooms in each... more

Looks nice when you drive up, but once in your room, you'll find a tired, dated space that reeks of smoke. This was a non smoking room. Room could use some updating. Fine but hardly 4 star. Food at the in house restaurant "Carpaccio" was laughable. Took 55 minutes for the wrong order to appear. The food was really poor... more
