An amazing honeymoonGood location stayed here twice. Nice and clean no frills. Don't risk staying in a dump when this place is quite nice. more
This place is awesome for Khao San Road. Its located in a lane right off the middle of it. Superior room was clean, A/C, king bed, hot water and included breakfast (unlimited toast) for $750 Baht. It is quite loud until about 1am, but I imagine it would be anywhere in this area. Internet is only $1 Baht a minute.... more
Location is right a middle of Khaosan street but get a liitle into small lane . Hotel suround by the raggae bar which made alittle noise at night . But I have no problem with that . I ve booked this hotel on their own website and found that they have special package on it so it quite cheap for... more
We stayed at the Inn for three nights and, overall, it wasn't all that bad an experience. From Khao San Road, you'd have to walk through a wet, smelly alleyway to get to the building. The front of the Inn is no better; lined with tables of food being prepared for delivery or packed lunches for passerbys. The lounge doubles... more
Clean hotel in great location on Khao San Road. Only downside is the noise. The rasta bar music will keep you up til 1am every night. We paid 820 baht per night for a double room with air con and private bathroom. Includes breakfast. more
We have stayed at this hotel twice now. We initially choose it because it was the only one listed on Khaosan.com that did not have terrible reviews. Both stays were OK except for a terrible experience with the front desk on arrival (much worse the second time). Don't bother writing anything in the comments section on the booking form, sending... more
This was an average hotel - the best I stayed in Bangkok but that is not saying much as most budget hotels are rather poor in terms of facilities. The room is ok, the bed is large and clean, there is TV, hot shower separated from the WC by a curtain (not common in budget hotels), locks provided for the... more
My friend and I stayed at Sawasdee Banglumpoo Inn in Dec, Jan and Feb of 2005-2006. Originally I saw it on travelocity and at that time there were no reviews. I took a chance and booked it for a couple of nights and was totally glad I did. We'd never been to Thailand before and were very conscious of being... more
I just spend three nights and then another two nights at the Sawasdee Bunglampoo while in Bangkok before and after heading to the islands. This hotel has great service, adequate rooms with cold A/C and it is right off of KhaoSan Road which is exactly where you want to stay if you are a Westerner in Bangkok. You can get... more
The hotel (more like a simple Motel) is exactly what it is – simple. Nothing fancy with a pool and porters. But when you travel you don’t spend that much time in the hotel anyway. It is a good value for the money – clean, responsive staff, food very close, travel agency, and the Internet. One advantage of this hotel... more
