I stayed here on seperate occasions having booked through the hotels web site, which offered superior rates to any online agent. A short cab ride when you avoid peak times and under 200 baht from the airport. Check-in is smooth, and reception staff were always really friendly and helpful. I would never stay in an Ibis for a holiday but as my hubby and I were just stopping over in Bangkok before flying out the next day it seemed a good idea. We paid about 40US or so for a suite room which I really think is worth while. I wouldnt stay in an ibis without a king bed... more

We needed two overnights between several flights in/out of Bangkok. Using the Accor and/or Ibis website, we could book a VERY cheap non-refundable rate. It takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi from the airport. I would make sure to take the hotel name and address with you, even if written in English, so you can repeat it to the taxi... more
