Even though I booked the room by credit card due to a late arrival i was told that the hotel was fully booked on arrival at 11pm. The lady behind the desk was rude to me and did not appear to have any understanding that i had reserved my room by cc. This led to me phoning round the yellow... more

Sam's Lodge is in a great location with Skytrain and MRT stations within a few mins walk It is also in walking distance of some excellent places to eat including street stalls, restaurants and hotels. I thought after seeing so many ads for Sams Lodge I'd give it a try. it really is nice and tidy and very clean, the staff are nice people, the price is good with the membership card ( 800 baht per night ) but after staying there twice, I had to be sure I've thrown the member card away, it... more
