Our experiences at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai was truly disappointing. We were greeted with a sales pitch to upgrade our pavilion room that puts a car salesman to shame. The resort was beautifully landscaped but the staff lacked the desire to provide five star accommodation. Their focus was to sell us anything and everything in the resort from cooking... more

We stayed for 3 nights on our Honeymoon at The Four Seasons Chiang Mai, a beautiful, secluded hotel north of the city. Pros: -- Beautiful Scenery (Rice Paddies, water bufallos, mountains in the background)! -- Great Service (Hotel staff calls you by name & staff from teh pool to the sidewalk strike up conversation). -- Beautiful Room (We got upgraded... more

The Four Seasons in Chiang Mai is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. My husband and I stayed here for the last 5 nights of our honeymoon. We LOVED it. I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and absolute beauty. Everything you desire is at your fingertips. The food, service, rooms... more

This hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before. No wonder this resort has won many awards (travel & leisure, etc). My husband and I have stayed at many different FS -Maui, Koh Samui, Costa Rica, Mexico, etc. But, this place has to top them all. The The staff- extremely hospitable, kind and will go out... more

I spent 5 days here in the end of September 2007 on my honeymoon. It was fantastic. The views were breattaking and the place really has a magical feel to it. The location is away from the city BUT they offer a shuttle to/from city about 4 times a day which was perfect for us. Four Seasons Chiang Mai provided... more

The Four Seasons Chiang Mai resort is a great place to really rest and relax and be in a quiet peaceful place to get away from the busy city. First of all, the hotel environment is built around a small rice paddy field and the environment is very quiet and peaceful. We were originally booked for a 2 bedroom residence... more

The Resort is well-manicured and perfectly kept; every blade of grass seems to be in the right place. That's the problem, though, as well. After traveling through Thailand, the Four Seasons was very "Disney-like" -- the rice paddies were maintained by the hotel, the flowing stream was on a timer (and stopped flowing around bedtime), and even the hills around... more

My wife and I stayed at the FS Chiang Mai as part of a two week Thai holiday. We spent time in Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Phuket. We stayed at this hotel after an incredible experience at teh FS Tent Camp in Chiang Rai so maybe we were a little jaded. The resort grounds were nice but not... more

To put it simply, this was the most amazing place my wife and I had ever been to. I can't believe that this hotel is not ranked higher on this site - I assume the cost keeps some people away. But to us, the cost is worth it. Everything about this place is first class. Every square inch of the... more

Great stay at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai. We stayed at the tented camp first in Chiang Rai and then drove 3 hours to Chiang Mai. Beautiful hotel set in the rice fields. The whole hotel has a very tranquil/zen feeling. Manager is terrific, available and very helpful. Take advantage of the spa and cooking classes. The hotel is out... more
