Great stay at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai. We stayed at the tented camp first in Chiang Rai and then drove 3 hours to Chiang Mai. Beautiful hotel set in the rice fields. The whole hotel has a very tranquil/zen feeling. Manager is terrific, available and very helpful. Take advantage of the spa and cooking classes. The hotel is out... more

I have stayed at many top hotels and Four Seasons Chiangmai is in a league of it's own, especially in terms of service. The Thai hospitality industry is known for its attention to detail and outstanding service, and this hotel sets the bar sky high. Every single staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, professional - obviously well-trained. After check-in we... more

Let's be clear: this is a very expensive hotel, and you will basically double the cost if you eat or go to cooking school or ride an elephant. Please don't come if that troubles you! The resort is a fair way from town - about 30 minutes. The Four Seasons transfer is way more expensive in a far nicer van... more

We stayed here for 5 night as part of our honeymoon trip to Thailand. We absolutely loved the Four Seasons. The setting is absolutely incredible. The whole hotel has a very tranquil feeling (with the rice field and mountains). The Spa is top notch. My wife felt like she was floating on clouds. We did Yoga one day. The Yoga... more

We expected luxury when we booked the Four Seasons Chiang Mai but this was way beyond what we could have imagined. The setting is tranquil, exotic and a world apart from crowded cities. We enjoyed walking the beautifully landscaped grounds, dining outdoors and experiencing fantastic spa treatments. Each staff person we met was helpful and friendly. We could check our... more

We have just returned from a trip to Thailand and we were fortunate enough to have spent 5 nights at this stunning resort. From the moment that you arrive you are made to feel very special and not once during our stay did the level of service and attention that we recieved waiver. We were greeted with a warm &... more

My husband annd I stayed at this resort in September as it was his birthday and we wanted to go somewhere special. Special it was. From the moment we were picked up at the airport and arrived at the Four Season everything was perfect. We were greeted on arrival by the lovely staff and showed immediately to our room. The... more

We had high expectations of our stay at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai after our recent experience at the chain's resort in Langkawi, but left slightly disappointed. We were very happy with our room, which had a beautiful view over the rice terraces, and we loved the patio where we had breakfast in the morning. The weather was perfect at... more

We spent 3 wonderful nights in our gorgeous bungalow, with its huge, huge covered balcony (it's so big that it can fit a dining table for four and a sofa with room to spare). The staff is outstanding. You cannot compare traveling in Asia to traveling in America. They just know how to do it in Asia! The pool is... more
