We had a terrific stay at the Seven Suns. The hotel staff, especially the owner, are friendly and very helpful. The owner was a huge help in recommending restaurants, cooking classes, where and when to shop, temples etc. After a day of touring the city, it was great to come back to a nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable room. more

We stayed for a few nights at the 7 Suns last December, and having seen what else there is on offer, wish we had stayed elsewhere. The Guest House itself is clean and the staff reasonably friendly. The location was for us the best part - away from the noise of the Night Market and in the peace of the... more

Hi Tanapat, Sorry that Seven Suns was not more to your taste! Our room themes are not for everyone, but most people find them fun and a change from the usual. What a great diversity we live in with the global community, it would be pretty boring if we were all the same now? Funny most people think our food...

Stayed in the Just Because room for one week last April. Booked everything directly with the very friendly and helpful Kerry through e-mail. The guesthouse is located within the city walls, on a quiet street close to some temples, and within a walking distance to the Night Bazaar, and very close to the Sunday Market. The room was spacious, very... more

My husband and I stayed at the Seven Suns Guesthouse for a week during our honeymoon trip to Thailand. We absolutely loved everything about this guest house! The staff was very friendly, spoke very good english and was very very helpful. The owner, Kerry, is from Australia and so speaks fluent english of course! She and everyone at the guesthouse... more

I stayed at Seven Suns in November of 2007 (about 4 months ago) and have been meaning to write a review ever since - lazy me. I apologize to all the really fine and decent folks who work there for not having written sooner. When i had booked on-line with Kerry (the owner) she had advised that cabs from the... more

I stayed at Seven Suns for four nights at the end of January 2008 I agree with a previous poster that the bathrooms certainly need work, but am glad that the owner is looking at that Other than that, it was a perfect place for a few chilled out days in this lovely city. The location is excellent, if you... more

OK, so I know this place is not expensive in the grand scheme of things, however compared to other places in the same price range in Chiang Mai this place could learn a few things. Firstly, its really noisy, fine if you want to party, not if you want to actually sleep. The biggest issue we had was the state... more

Thanks for the feedback, always good to know what we can do to make things better here at Seven Suns. That bathroom did need some work, so we have fixed it all up, replaced the curtain and found the leaks. On another note, we have finally found someone who seems to understand what our larger bathroom problems are and will...

After our "no name" guest house gave away our room we booked we needed to find a new guesthouse - and quickly. I had seen the other good reviews on Seven Sun's before we left home so I rang and luckly they had a room for us - Hello Kitty. It is so pink and cute and comfy. Seven Sun's... more

I stayed for 3 nights in Nov. 2007 and had a great time. The guesthouse was very clean. The food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in the Hello Kitty Room and was "tickled pink." I liked that it was in walking distance to the Night Market and super close to the Sunday Walking Street.... more

My partner and I stayed at the Seven Suns after booking directly with the Guest House. The room we stayed in was basic, with air con, bar fridge and TV. According to their guest information they are in the process of renovating their bathrooms, which are small, consisting of an Asian style shower, bathroom sink and toilet. We asked for... more
