Having walked up and down along the beach checking places out, Samui Sense was worth the extra money to stay there. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily, at any time of the day around your schedule! Whilst the bathrooms are a bit run down, the rooms are nice, the grounds are beautiful, and its great... more

We booked into Samui Sense for 6 days after a fantastic 5 night stay on Koh Tao. We were a little disappointed when we were went to the reception area as it was drab with little lighting and no bar or social area. We were given a cold towel and a welcome drink which indeed was very welcome after a... more

I stayed at the Samui Sense in Mid May 2008. A previous member commented on the peace that is there. It is really odd, leaving the taxi at the entrance with the bustle of the town behind you and cross the Bridge over the Carp filled pool to an area of-- well quiet and calm. The welcome from the team... more

Stayed here for 7 nights in a Thai Villa. Fantastic little resort with a mix of villas, and a block of rooms. The thai villas are great, very old and traditional, and only criticism is that bathrooms could be upgraded. The newer building looked good, and if you have the money recommend the suites. Fresh water left in your room... more

Went April 2007 with significant other, 21 years old! If you're looking for an easy going, gorgeous resort this is the place for you. Lamai beach is a very nice quiet beach, but that never stopped us from having a good time. There are random "bars" that come out of no where (like most places in Thailand) right on the... more

We stayed here for 4 lovely nights. Cool drink and towel on arrival. Big king size bed. Nice bathroom. Air con. Fridge and free water daily. Bathrobes and slippers. Nice pool with shade and sun. Breakfast was included and really nice... they could however include some thai food but the fruit was delicious. Staff very friendly and happy to organise... more

My wife and I stayed at Samui Sense for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it! This was our first trip to Thailand and we did lots of research trying to find the perfect location/beach and hotel/resort. After looking online and talking to others who have stayed on the island, we settled on the Lamai Beach area, and the Samui... more

When we booked this place on the web it looked fab, but your never sure till you get there. The Samui sense was better than we ever inmagined! They give you cold towels and a glass of orange juice when you arrive then they whisk your bags off to your room. The rooms and suites are set in beautiful gardens... more

We just spent ten days at the hotel in a newly renovated Junior Suite. All aspects of the hotel were excellent, including (suprisingly) their restaurant. Our experiences have been to avoid the hotel's restaurant, except for breakfast. Even if you don't stay here, try their seafood dinner for two (1,900 baht), but only if you are three people. After the... more
