I stayed at the Samui Sense in Mid May 2008. A previous member commented on the peace that is there. It is really odd, leaving the taxi at the entrance with the bustle of the town behind you and cross the Bridge over the Carp filled pool to an area of-- well quiet and calm. Stayed here for 7 nights in a Thai Villa. Fantastic little resort with a mix of villas, and a block of rooms. The thai villas are great, very old and traditional, and only criticism is that bathrooms could be upgraded. The newer building looked good, and if you have the money recommend the suites. We stayed here for 4 lovely nights. Cool drink and towel on arrival. Big king size bed. Nice bathroom. Air con. Fridge and free water daily. Bathrobes and slippers. Nice pool with shade and sun. When we booked this place on the web it looked fab, but your never sure till you get there. The Samui sense was better than we ever inmagined! We just spent ten days at the hotel in a newly renovated Junior Suite. All aspects of the hotel were excellent, including (suprisingly) their restaurant.
