Me and my friend like good hotel locations since we want to be in the center of things when we travel. This hotel is your best option for Samui, you walk outside your bungalow and you are on the beach if you turn left, if you turn right and pass the lobby we were right in the middle of Chaweng... more

Great location IF you want to be in the "mix". Chaweng beach was like the Ibiza of Thailand. Lots of people, shops, party, etc... it was totally opposite from the R&R of Ao Nang Beach. After i read some bad reviews I had not so big expectations on this hotel therefore i was more than surprised when i was there. They upgraded us to a Deluxe Bungalow because there had no Garden Bungalows on the first day. We were quite satisfied and even more after we were on our 2d day on the Garden one... more

Goods and bads......... There were 5 of us (all girls), 3 of us stayed in Bungalow 801 - the best one on the resort - well worth paying extra money for - almost directly on the beach. and the other 2 of us stayed in a bungalow next to the restaurant... not so great - a bit dark and dingy... more

We stayed at the Chaweng Buri in April this year. We booked to come to this hotel, having walked through the grounds and had a beer by the pool the previous August. This is our experience. A huge disappointment, not a great property. All public areas such as reception and restaurant need a huge refurb, very tired and dated. The rooms are a good size and kept clean however very dated and in need of general mantance, large patches of mould on the ceiling in the bedroom and on most nights the sheets on the beds... more
