I spent my last holidays in Koh Samui, what a beautiful place! a truly paradise island. I stayed at Kamalaya, a fantastic health spa resort on the South of the island. Just by the beach, clean spacious rooms, pools, vegetation... They have detox and yoga retreats, all sorts of treatments, chinese medicine, ayurveda... Plus the food is great, a big... more

This really is a tiny spot of paradise. It is beautiful, tranquil and has a wonderful energy. The staff are kind, thoughtful and make you feel so welcome. There is extraordinary attention to detail put into everything. The food is fresh, healthy and delicious. The rooms are delightful - especially if you ask for the ones with a view over... more

WOW WOW WOW!!! My new husband and I just returned from 7 blissful days at Kamalaya for the start of our honeymoon in Thailand. We did the "7-day Relax and Renew" program and truly loved every aspect of our experience from the gorgeous setting, accommodations, gourmet food, exceptional staff, top notch spa treatments and calming, tranquil vibe. It was just... more

My partner and I spent a week there in April - I needed to have a good rest after a hectic 18 months of work & travel, and though my partner didn't want 'a program' per se we chose this because of the wealth of wellness classes and activities available. In short - this was perfect! On arrival were told... more

I have one comment to make about this hotel: the manager is a superb, very understanding guy. We arrived at the hotel and found out immediately that we had to leave--so literally checked in, did not like our room, had him move us to another one and then found out immediately that we had to leave. Although we had paid... more

My wife and i have just come back from a great trip from Asia. We wanted to share our outstanding experience at Kamalaya - eventhough this may sound like an ad to you, believe me, this is for real ... Anyone looking for a spa resort set in idyllic surroundings and offering much more than technical competence and service should... more

After visiting Kamalaya recently with my girlfriend, and family I was very impressed. Kamalaya is a unique experience on Koh Samui..there is no other place that I know of that is like it and I have been visiting Samui for years. The beauty of the gardens, the design of the buildings integrating the natural environment, the wellness services that go... more

This was my first time away on my own and I felt completely safe and secure. I met some great people - the mix of been sociable and peace was just... more

There are many good things about Kamalaya, but I thought a more accurate description of the place was needed considering what you pay to go here and after feeling somewhat disillusioned following my thorough research for a spa holiday (I’ve been on many). My main criteria were: holistic spa with excellent treatments and a good range of classes, and splendid... more

This is a very good spa/hotel. The journey from the airport shows how tired looking and touristy this island has become, but Kamalaya is away from the hustle and bussle of these areas and is nestled in the south, some 30 minutes from the airport. The food is very good if you are not detoxing, if you are, the choice... more
