This was our second stay at the Montien.. we went in 2005 as well, and what was really nice was they remembered us. We arrived at 2.30 AM and were checked in within 30 minutes.. I stayed for 1 night, asking specifically for a high floor sea view, to assess buying a condo in the vicinity. I was given the 4th floor, witha tiny strip of a view of the beach, facing the staff quarters. some feeble excuse of renovations was given. The decor in the room was so 70s...i cant believe i paid this... more

Hi, I stayed ast the montien for 7 nights and found it to be perfect the service was excellent always smiling even the receptionest ascorted us to our room on arrival. breakfeast was excellent lots and lots of variety. location perfect. room was nice with balcony bathroom was rather old though. a good 4.5* hotel more

I've stayed at the Montien Pattaya 3 years in a row attending a gathering and visiting friends. We get a special rate of about 65USD a night... I live on Maui and a comprarable room would be well over 200.00 ( at least) with no breakfast buffet..... The rooms are nice but make sure your get floor 4 or above... more

Hotel was nice and in a good location, however, I was disappointed with the charges. They charged more for the room (about 20%) than I booked online. Because it was New years and everywhere else was full, I had no choice but to stay and pay the higher rate. Then at checkout I was informed of a 10% service fee... more
