Had a weeks holiday here and thought it was wonderful, especially compared to Patong. Karon and Kata are pretty quiet but not too isolated, having enough bars and restaurants to keep people entertained. The people here were fantastic and friendly. The hotel was of an excellent standard - massive suite rooms, modern and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. more
