The Hotel was lovely. The staff and especially the door girls ( who opened the front doors every time you came near ) were very friendly and helpful. They sprang to help at the slightest hint you might need something, from organized a taxi to help about where to eat. The pool was nice but the water was very warm... more

Stayed at the Sheraton Hanoi for about 5 days during our 8 nights in Hanoi. I'll post a review for the other hotel, but the Sheraton, despite a location further away from the heart of the city, was clearly the better of the two. PROS: Great Spa: My wife and I used the spa several times. The staff was always... more

Terrible. I had an on balance average stay at the Sheraton Hanoi with one glaring exception – I know this may not be how most people rate a hotel, but the gym was horrendously managed. Its a tight space to begin with and the gym was holding an aerobics class at such full volume it actually hurt my ears. My... more

The Sheraton Hanoi Hotel is a very nice business hotel located quite far from the center. It's easy to reach from the airport, staff is friendly, rooms are nice. I dislike the buffet breakfast in the lobby area and they often have problems with the WiFi internet connection. more

This hotel is a perfect example of what 5 star hotels should be. We stayed 4 nights and everything was perfect from start to finish, double entry doors opened by girls dressed in Vietnamese dress and porters actually rushing to help. Our room was classically styled, high ceilings, well equipped and most of all comfortable. Breakfast was great and at... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in March 2008. This is a lovely hotel which is outside of the city centre - it was about a 10 minute drive. For us the location was ideal - it seemed very tranquil as it is away from the main drag. The hotel staff were excellent. The rooms were very nice, very clean,... more

I stayed at this hotel for a conference and business travel. Although it is not as central as some of the large hotels this was not an inconvenience. I cannot compliment the helpfulness of the staff enough - they were fantastic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Restaurants were excellent and there was plenty of choice for breakfast and... more

I was disappointed to see that the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel is located about 10 minutes north of the city downtown and the edge of West Lake. The hotel appears to be dated and "tired". It's more 80/90's Vietnamese-esque styling, then shiny and new nor colonial. The rooms were nothing special, but the bathroom has a separate shower and tub. There... more

We stayed at this hotel in December 2007 for 4 nights. It is 10 minutes by taxi to the city center; there is nothing much around the hotel itself. The rooms were good size, clean ... pretty much what you'd expect from a Sheraton. The first night the guests in the room next to us were a little loud. We... more
