On the way in I bumped into an American government worker who always stayed there when visting Vietnam, so that put me at ease immediately. Do not stay here. The rooms are fine, but the management is not. When we arrived the staff gave us a key and pointed up stairs, they gave us no information what so ever! walked up three very steep flights of stairs (not recommended for anyone with walking problems) to our room which was very small, had no window, dirty... more

We stayed at this very nice little hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. Very friendly staff, helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable, and price very decent. We paid $30 a night for 2 people, and I'd recommend this place to anybody. We actually did talk about the hotel to some fellow travelers and they switch from their hostels... more

yeah. i stayed in Giabao hanoi hotel in 5 nites last december. The hotel quite good with all services and its location ( only few walks to hoan kiem lake and the busy old quarter of hanoi) ,i think this is the best small hotel in hanoi , there are only 28 rooms but the room is clean and beauty... more
