The Sheraton Saigon is a nice hotel at a good location. If you're a Platinum member of Starwood and get the Suite upgrade, the free internet and the entrance to the Club Lounge (very nice view, breakfast and afternoon snacks) you should stay here. If you're not and would get standard treatment you should select another hotel. more

It's a business trip. Got recommendation from colleagues for Caravelle and Sheraton. Picked this becoz of the international name. Forgot morning call - unacceptable for a business hotel No smile and impersonal - only the receptionlists know how to greet guest and smile. poor english - another unacceptable flaw for business hotel charging this much lack of training - staff... more

I stayed at the Sheraton in May for 14 days on a business trip to Vietnam. Had originally booked a deluxe room without anything, but upgrade to the Executive Floor for an additional 60 USD per night, which I thought was a good deal since it gave me free breakfast, drinks as well as hors d'ouevres and little things in... more

There aren't many big hotels in a small city like Saigon and Sheraton can be considered the biggest and one of the most expensive hotel in town. The room here is hard to get and it is getting ridiculously expensive due to the high demand of business people. The room in Sheraton is clean and spacious, but for the price... more

We stayed in HCM City in the run up to Tet and enjoyed every minute. The Sheraton was great, our room was fabulous so imagine our surpise when on the last night the duty manager contacted us full of apologies as we should have been in an upgraded room. No worries, as the room we where in exceeded our expectations.... more

Nice modern hotel. Good service from checkin. I stayed on a club floor and room was well kept, clean and amenities were excellent. Great bathroom. Breakfast was very good both in main cafe and club lounge. House cars difficult to organise (don't appear to have many available) so if you need a car for the day you're on your own... more

I visited Saigon for light sightseeing and relaxation around the pool area. The hotel is well situated a few steps off Dong Khoi which is Saigon's tourist shopping street. The Sheraton Saigon is a big, glossy place with all the expected amenities. The card system for the elevator is a bit confusing. The room itself was comfortable, if drably furnished... more

We liked this hotel a lot more than we did HCMC, which suffered in comparison to Laos (Luang Prabang) and Cambodia (Siem Reap). We booked a Tower Studio through a Vietnamese travel agent ($385 a night for 3, incl. club lounge access and taxes) for $75 less than their Web site quoted, and couldn't have been happier. The room itself,... more
