I am a return stay to Hotel Cara, after many satisfy stays in Year 2007. However my return after 1 year later is greatly dissapointed, which I have seen degrade in term of their service. Location: For tourist, this area is quite far away from main tourist attraction. I stayed here because it is near to my work location. Room:... more

My partner & I stayed here for a few days of sightseeing & there is nothing wrong with the hotel other than its location. The room was clean & nice looking enough with toiletries & towels provided. We had a large balcony overlooking the side road/petrol station, I believe if you don't request a balcony you get a room without... more

My mother and I are from Singapore. We stayed in Cara Hotel. The breakfast is limited but the food quality is very good especially the porridge. The hotel and restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is nice except some stain in shower curtain and room doors look old. However, we really enjoy our stay in Cara Hotel. more

I stayed at the Cara Hotel with my parents during May 2008. The hotel reception and restaurant are impressive to look at and you immediately get the impression that this is going to be a wonderful hotel to stay in. Unfortunately it is such a pity that they don't put as much effort into the rooms as they do the... more

Not sure what to make of this hotel, but to put things into perspective, this really is a 2 ½ / 3 star hotel and for that rating, it really isn’t too bad. We had booked a deluxe room with a balcony and were expecting a little more ‘deluxe’ than we got. The room we had was on the first... more

Quite nice hotel in the Wat phnom area, but make sure that you don,t get a bunker room ,because of all the smoke,it´s horrible. They seem to put all singel bokkis there. I refused and got a dubble with a window for same price. 29 ud/n incl b and vat. more

The Cara hotel has a modern and pleasant design. My room was very tidy and clean, although my friend complained of his. The major problem is the standard rooms ; they are equipped with windows. Breakfast is also not fabulous but quite complete. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We did not try the Japanese restaurant. For the price we paid... more

This Hotel was ok for the price - the location wasn't too bad but it was incredibly noisy considering the double doors............and the breakfast was not worth going to. more

It is hard to look past a clean hotel offering a room for $30 + US dollars.....and the Cara delivered. Location is pretty good, about a 10-15 minute walk to the waterfront tourist area where row after row of restaurants await only broken by the row after row of (legitimate) massage parlours. Staff were friendly upon arrival and throughout the... more

We stayed a night in a balcony room. The room is very small, with little space to move about. It is a bit noisy as you can hear the noises from the road and TV from the next door. Bedding and towels were thin. Don't be fooled by the nice photos of the hotel. Location is a bit inconvenient. You... more
