Struggled to find accomodation in Vientiane & only after phoning around finally found a room here. In serious need of a face lift, but staff friendly & helpful. Room clean & comfortable. Quiet but centrally located. more

There was nothing extra special about this hotel. The more popular ones had been booked out and someone suggested trying it. They had tons of space and I finally ended up in a suite for $25. I stayed two nights at the Asian Pavilion in Vientiane in 11/2006. If you have other options - stay somewhere else. We stayed in their 'suite' for $50. I won't go into details but they tried to convince us a regular room was the suite first. The windows did not fit in the frames and there were no screens. I... more
