During a recent 3-week trip to Turkey I spent 5 nights at one of the nicest hotels I've ever experienced. The Hotel Yusuf Pasa Konagi is perfectly located in the old section of Istanbul, Sultanahmet, an easy stroll away from the Blue Mosque, Agia Sophia church, Topkapi Palace and the unforgettable Grand Bazaar with its 4,000 shops. After a long... more

I selected this hotel from reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. It wasn't our first choice but they had rooms available and it had received some excellent reviews. It was our first trip to Istanbul and we went for a week. I don't have experience of any other hotels in Turkey so can't compare. But here's some impressions- It's in a... more

This is a small hotel in a very quiet neighborhood right in the middle of all the action. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. They aimed to please! I would most definitely stay there again. more

If you like peace (Yusuf Pasa is slıghtly off the beaten path.i.e. 20 seconds) and to be in the center of the action (3 minutes walkıng from Blue Mosque. Hagia Sofia and Topkapı Palace) Yusuf Pasa is the place! I chose this hotel (after extensive personal research: physically walking and talking) for the incredıble peace and pleasure of its lobby... more

Located right at the end of the Sultanahmet old but rustic area, the YusufPasa Konagi is literally 3-4 minutes down from the streets where all the action on that side of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia are. 30 metres up the road is a street filled with restaurants, small shops and cafes which range from turkish coffee shops to australian... more

This hotel let me book in through the web without payment and arranged free airport transport both ways. I got an extra discount for cash payment. The location was excellent and the room just like any standard hotel bedroom in much more expensive hotels. The stallite TV only had a couple of channels in each language but that's enough anyway.... more
