This hotel is like staying in a hotel six in the states. The public areas are ok but the rooms are in big time need of renovating. We paid $240 a night and expected a nice place. were we disappointed. Wish we had stayed at the Dan Eilat more

I am here now. We found this through this website and then went direct. The price is great $144 per night. From what I understand it was one of the first hotels. It has either been renovated or has "stood the test of time"..the lobby is very nice with no complaints. The room is neat, clean, well appointed with all... more
my wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. good location, nice rooms, accomodating staff more
From the outside, the hotel has very few parking spots and looks a bit old in comparison to the big hotels (Hilton, Herod's, Dan). Though inside the hotel is kept up very well and the best part of the hotel is that it is centrally located, and an affordable hotel for families. The Sheraton brand name lives up to its... more
We stayed there last year and this year we have changed the hotel. The Sheraton Moriah Hotel is in a great position and has everything you want: two beautiful pools, a video room, a restaurant...The rooms are very clean and the service is very good. The prices for all that are the best thing: it isn't expensive! One of the... more
The Sheraton Eilat was the best hotel we stayed at in Israel. It is a little older, and like all the other hotels, the "king" bed is two twins pushed together. The pool was very nice, as was the staff. One note: this is a bad hotel for light sleepers. The fun in Eilat goes on quite late, and you... more
My sister and I took two of my grandchildren (boy 10; girl 7) to the Sheraton Eilat for four days during Chanukah. The kids had a ball! There was plenty of kid-type food to keep their meals lively, for example chocolate spread, hot dogs, french fries, pancakes, ice cream, cucumbers. My grandchildren are not big on vegetables but the hotel... more
Israeli like noise, and the "boardwalk" in front of the Sheraton is Eilat noisiest place with load music from surrounding beach bars/shops/discos (day but mostly between 10pm and 4am at night). First night we were "upgrated" to a junior suite in the old building. The view on the sea was fantastic, the room large and bed very very confortable. But... more
This hotel looks great on the outside. The lobby is very nice and there is easy access to a beautiful pool and to the beach. The hotel is well located and near the airport, the shopping mall and the "boardwalk." The rooms are rather shabby. The carpets are badly worn. The beds, however, were comfortable and the air conditioning was... more
One expects a certain standard of quality from Sheraton and the Starwoods Hotels Group, so be warned that this hotel is probably one of the worst Starwoods properties that you'll come across. The front desk staff are unbelievably unfriendly (they're probably overworked), the hotel is in need of renovation (beware of mold in bathroom), and the noise from the lobby... more
