my family stayed at the king solomon hotel in mid aug 2007. this hotel seems far below some of the others in the area and the price of the room refects that. The rooms cost about half as much if not more than half, than the other hotels in the area. to say that this hotel is dated is an... more

I have stayed in many hotels in Jerusalem and the King Solomon is not as nice as some of the others in the immediate area. The rooms and furnishings were a bit dated and the food, while good, was not as spectacular as I have had. However, that being said, the staff was helpful, the lobby spacious, the views outstanding... more

I just returned from Israel, and stayed at this hotel while in Jerusalem. On the plus side, the location is outstanding. It is down the street from the much more costly King David Hotel and within walking distance, through the park across the street, of the Old City. The Israeli breakfast was ok. Since we were part of a group,... more

I had the pleasure of staying at the King Solomon for 3 nights last summer (and am on this website to check out prices for going back). This hotel has so many good qualities. The location is just right. It's only about 10/15 mins walk to the Jaffa Gate and the Old City. Also just 10 mins walk to the... more

I stayed at the King Solomon for the second half of my last visit to Jerusalem. I love the location in Yemen Moshe which is a very pretty part of town. The hotel is dated with its 70's style, but the room was clean, the bathroom was polished stone, and the windows in the rooms are big and then open.... more

We stayed at the King Solomon for 4 nights in July 2006. We expected kind of a "ghetto" place based on the price and the less than enthusiastic reviews, but didn't care since we were on a budget and were looking for a great location. We were thrilled when we arrived. Yes, the location is perfect (right down the street... more

The King Solomon Hotel is an older hotel with comfortable clean rooms. What makes the hotel so wonderful is the location and the price. The hotel is not even a block away from the famous King David Hotel (5 stars) which is located in a great area of Jerusalem, but for much much less per night. We were walking distance... more

The high quality and warm welcome received at the King Solomon Hotel was ver reassuring. I arrived very early in the morning - 6am, and had to leave at the same time next day, but the hotel staff were very helpful. My wake up call was exactly on time, the restaurant arranged a full buffet breakfast even - an hour... more

Stayed for three nights at the Hotel King Solomon in early June, 2004. This hotel is rated as four stars. It deserves two stars at the best. Although it was originally built a s a luxery hotel, it has been allowed to deteriorate. The lobby furniture is filthy, the staff is dressed poorly ( in jeans or anything else they... more
