The hotel is situated quite far from the center, so a taxi will cost you around 10 dollars to get to the Old City. Stayed 1 night in December 07, arrived at 6.30am from the airport, check in was not until 2pm, they looked after our bags and sent us to the breakfast buffet and said try just after 7am your room may be ready, It was!!! Reasonable price, and the room was okay - not particularly small, and the bathroom was fine. Allthogh the hotel is old, it is a nice quite hotel. I found the room small but clean & comfortable. The staff was very friendly & helpfull. The food is good . The location was exactly what we needed. But most of everything the price we paid was fair. We will defenatly come again. more

It's not as bad as some of these reviews. All in all it wasn't too bad and I'd stay again. It seemed fairly clean to me and the room was decent. Stayed here in March 2005. My best comparison for it would be like a rundown Motel 6 (I have had MUCH better experiences with Motel 6's).... Not clean, small rooms, refused coffee at the evening meal (whoever heard of THAT?)............staff seemed not at all concerned with MY concerns! The rooms are extremely small. The breakfast is OK except that the silverware was dirty and so were the glasses every night we ate. The hotel is filthy and my friends and I saw several dead roaches in the bathrooms and hallways. You really want to avoid this place. more
