If you are looking to stay near the tourist attractions, this is not the place for you. It's located in a religious neighborhood, mostly locals with the exception of two other hotels, much nicer, right next door. If you like walking, which I do, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the Old City. The first room that I... more

The hotel is situated quite far from the center, so a taxi will cost you around 10 dollars to get to the Old City. The staff was trying to be helpful however could not manage the huge crowd of tourists around new year. Somehow they messed up reservations of our group and that cost us lot of energy and efforts... more

Reasonable price, and the room was okay - not particularly small, and the bathroom was fine. I also found the desk staff really helpful in organising taxis, trips etc. However, it's not in a good position, unless you're visiting the Knesset. The room wasn't particularly clean - eg under the bed and desk lots of dust, and I too had... more

We came to touring Jerusalem and location of Hotel was good for it, not far from the center and from the old city. Food was very good, we enjoy it. Staff was educated and helpful. There are new carpets and... more

We just got back from Israel, where we spent one night at the Park Plaza. It was the dirtiest place ever! The rugs were so dirty that you wanted to throw your socks away. The staff was rude. We had to go to a wedding at this hotel, and the morning of, we were woken up twice early in the... more

It's not as bad as some of these reviews. All in all it wasn't too bad and I'd stay again. It seemed fairly clean to me and the room was decent. The front desk staff was a little slow, but the bell boy/security staff were nice. There was a business center. The restaurant was okay, but it got really noisy... more

Stayed here in March 2005. My best comparison for it would be like a rundown Motel 6 (I have had MUCH better experiences with Motel 6's).... Not clean, small rooms, refused coffee at the evening meal (whoever heard of THAT?)............staff seemed not at all concerned with MY concerns! The place was obviously undergoing some kind of renovation.....tools/paint/ladders etc. all over... more

The rooms are extremely small. The breakfast is OK except that the silverware was dirty and so were the glasses every night we ate. The hotel is filthy and my friends and I saw several dead roaches in the bathrooms and hallways. You really want to avoid this place. more
