We spent two nights on the club room floor. Service was good; however, the rooms need remodeling. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and some of the furniture had cigarette burns. The food at Mexican restaurant was below average; however, the food served at the pool was good. Pool area was well maintained and was a nice place to... more

Stayed in the Club rooms on the eighth floor. This included a seperate breakfast room, and a "happy hour" which meant free drinks between 6 and 8pm. Good idea, you could really take advantage of it..... Overall good hotel, pricey of course but thats to be expected. Agree on the staff, they could be trained better. Lack of wireless in... more

I stayed here for 1 month, and had many problems. I would have gone to another hotel but my employer had a corporate contract with this hotel. To start with I had a reservation arranged by my employer for a corporate rate. When I checked in, the front desk clerk told me she had a "deluxe" room for me. Not... more

I am a little surprised at the number of negative reviews. I agree with middle east Traveller that this hotel is geared to business travellers although it does have a very nice spa and lap pool, so it could be considered a resort. There are several restaurants, inlcuding a Mexican one, and the hotel is within walking distance of Amman's... more

I stayed at this hotel for 25 days, and it was a wonderful experience. I visit Amman a lot, and try a different hotel each time. No more. I am sticking with the InterContinental. What makes it great? -All the hotel restaurants (Indian, Mexican, Lebanese) were genuine, had great menus and were fairly priced. -Launrdy service was within hours and... more

I am very surprised by the composite overall low score for this very fine property in Amman. There are several restaurants with a variety of cuisine. My stay included Breakfast and Lunch due to a conference booking. Both meals in the Atrium Restaurant were served on a lavish truly Middle Eastern style. The staff was hospitable throughout the hotel. The... more

As the previous reviews, my experience at this particular intercontinental is very very bad. Despite the security, everything else was so bad. The room was OLD with old furniture, burned lambs (although I've spoken to their house keeping) buth they were too busy! to change the lambs. The bath is in a very bad condition, the running water in the... more

I have just returned from a week at the Intercontinental Amman. The hotel is really a very bad image of an intercontinental.I have travelled to different parts of the world and have stayed in hundreds of five stars hotels, however I have never come accross such a hotel which really is shame for the IC group. Check in was speedy and... more

The hotel is nice and clean and does have some good restaurants. But the staff is completley unprofessional. I had a horrible experience at the business center, the girl working there completley messed up my order and then tried to make me pay for it! The workers there do not know how to "think outside the box" or work with... more
