Nice rooms (flat TV, comfy bed) and complimentary 45min Inet/day at the lobby. Be aware of the parties at the pool. If you are one of the unlucky guests staying in a room facing the pool area, you will find yourself with music out loud being played at 2am... This happened during my stay and I had ask to change... more

We stayed two nights here, at the end of our Syrian vacation. I can say without hesitation that if I were to return to Damascus, I would never stay here again. Before moving to the Sheraton, we had stayed for two nights at "Old Damascus", a boutique hotel located, appropriately enough, in old Damascus. That hotel had a lot of... more

Tired decor. Gymnasium poorly formatted, the television screens cannot be seen from the treadmill. As a woman was discouraged from entering the gym by a male cleaner!!!! Day trip arranged with car and driver by hotel reception. Driver was excellent; however reception staff mis quoted (ie the price doubled when it came to pay) and management would not take responsility... more

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my recent trip to the Middle East. We had a late flight to Damascus, which meant that we did not arrive in the hotel until half past midnight. Upon checking in we were told that our room was not ready and we would have to wait for another hour! We were... more

What can I say! It has been many years since staying at the Sheraton Damascus. We spent part of the last days of our honeymoon there just before leaving to the airport. It was beautiful. We stayed in one of the rooms with a small balcony, with the view of the pool. I guess it was room 208...not all rooms... more

My first trip to Syria so I wanted something to be familiar, in fact the Sheraton was the only 'known-brand' hotel I could find on the web for Damascus. I spent 5 nights during February. Large hotel and one of the institutions of Damascus, there always seemed to be as many visitors and business suits milling around in the reception... more
