I have seen this hotel on previous trips to Asuncion so this time decided to try it out after checking it out on Trip Adviser and the Paramanta web page. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It looks lovely - kind of colonial tropical in style - and the service was excellent (e.g. they spotted me looking sleepy waiting to be picked up one morning, and came and offered me coffee unasked). I already spent two weeks in the Paramanta. It is a really nice hotel with all features of a business hotel- but not with the usual price! It is my top recommendation for "value for money" on this planet. The German owner will look personally after your needs. The personnel is excellent and very friendly.
