The hotel was wonderful if you are looking for a relaxing trip. The staff was always available and ready to help. Use of the Palau Pacific Resort is what makes the Caroline's hotel fantastic. The beds are not the most comfortable, but the view and having breakfast on your lanai more than makes up for them! The diving was fantastic more

Nice seven bungalows, up a hill overlooking the sea. Ten minutes rides by car from Koror, and definitely a nicer place to stay than Koror which is really disappointing. The bungalows are in the middle of a semi-jungle, with nice view. The manager and staff is very nice and willing to help. I just thought that the rooms could bear... more

We were flying on standby so we were unsure of what actual day we would arrive or how long we would stay. The Carolines Manager (although she insisted not to call her that) was prompt on answering our emails and more than accomadating about our weird schedule. She put us in bungalow 7, which has a fantastic view and is... more

Lush tropical mountain setting, with great views. We just returned from a bit over a week at Carolines. We enjoyed the quiet solitude of its location. The staff was very pleasant and courteous, and worked very hard to ensure guest satisfaction. As this was our first trip to Palau we found Carolines perfect to assist in our easy acclimation to... more

Caroline’s offers up one of the best places to stay in Koror. The views from most of the cabins are spectacular and what you might have envisioned in traveling to Palau. The rates are a bit steep for what the rooms have to offer, but the fact that you can use the facilities of the Palau Pacific Resort (PPR), make... more

My husband and I spent 4 nights at The Carolines in Jan 2007. We also visited most of the other resorts in Palau, and were very pleased that we chose TC. We loved our spacious private cottage with its beautiful view, the personal attention from the manager Zeny, breakfast on our balcony, diving with Sam's Tours, the $2 shuttle to... more

Even though our flight arrived after 1 a.m., Zenie, the Carolines Resort representative, was there to welcome us with a smile and a lei. This personal touch started our stay in Palau on the right note. For a few dollars more, request bungalow No. 8 at the top of the hill—it’s a large-sized room with spectacular panoramic views. While Carolines... more

When we travel that far we don't want to stay in a Holiday Inn, and this is no ordinary place. The architecture looks like a typical Palau structure--a "bai." You amble up the walkway to your cottage high on a hill. If you decide to explore the premises you can find a WWII gun emplacement up there. Breakfast is served... more

My long-suffering nondiver wife read a review of a hotel in Yap on a trip to Trinidad last year and gave the green light to look at a trip to the south Pacific. A year later....a ton of research.....a good travel agent later, we spent a week with Carolines on Palau and a week at Pathways on Yap. Carolines is... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at Carolines for nearly two weeks. We saw most of the well-known hotels in Palau during our visit and thought Carolines was the best. Well-built and well-kept cottages on a hill with the best views in Palau. Breakfast and dinner served on the balcony was great. The beach at Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) was a... more
