I would have stayed here longer, great room on the executive floor, very helpful staff, wonderful view of countryside, etc. The swimming pool is the largest I have experienced at any other hotel. There is a walking/jogging path along the urban park. Or you can climb/walk the nearby mountain or seemed that high when I got up there. Koreans probably... more

Spent one night here on my last trip to Seoul, as the downtown hotels were full. The hotel was clean, well serviced, and the staff excellent. Not sure what is around the area, but the area appeared very residential. Unless you have a business reason to stay here, suggest you go downtown. more

Excellent hotel! I had two one-night stays on either end of a trip to Daegu.One thing that helped was that HHilton Gold membership upgraded me to the executive floor. If you are familiar with how to use Korean "Saunas" (really large bath facilities - very similar to system at Japanese "Onsen" hotsprings resorts) this hotel has a very lovely facility.... more

Got booked here by business contact. This hotel is away from downtown Seoul , yet provides a free shuttle with access to downtown and metro. Has attched convention center and related crowd. The Hilton Millennium is centrally located, whereas the Grand Hilton is away from downtown - about a US$7 cab ride. My taxi driver from the airport was very confused by this, and it was hard to explain when I didn't know the location or the language. He finally asked another cab driver. Stayed at the Grand Hilton on various nights for business in July of 2006. The hotel is a little out of the way from the main business and entertainment districts of Seoul, but this makes the hotel a bit more quiet.
