We had a Jr. Suite and it was very nice and spacious. Beds are much more comfortable than the ones at COEX Intercontinental around the block (which I did not like at all) Very nice sauna/gym/pool/jogging track. Great location for shopping. more
I stayed in this hotel for business for more then 2 weeks in January 2008, and although it was a very nice experience, I am not sure why it is rated so high. Compared to other hotels I used, in especially South East Asia, service levels missing the personal touch & warm welcome feeling and prices are in general very... more
The GIH is an excellent choice for a business traveler, especially if you can book a room on the Club floor. The guest rooms are spacious and well-appointed and service throughout the hotel is first-rate. There are several restaurants right in the hotel, which are fairly expensive; the ones I tried during my three-night stay were very good. For an... more
I had my wedding at the Grand this past February and my family and friends from abroad stayed here as well. It was my first time staying at this hotel and I have to say it was the best experience I ever had. Breakfast was included in our package and it was a truly 5-star buffet breakfast from eggs and... more

Well known for efficiency in services and generally spacious and well equipped rooms, I select the Grand Intercontinental due to the brand, the convenience of location ( besides COEX ) and what I see on their website for my short business trip to Seoul. Stayed for business three nights. Hotel room very large, nice accomadations, did not appreciate smoking rooms. Great location, very nice gym, friendly staff. Wondeful connection to COEX mall. Wonderful breakfast in the morning on the ground floor. Would definetely recommend, have stayed at the Shilla and Sheraton Walkerhill for business, Intercontinental better than the other two. more
There were 3 of us so I booked a junior suite club level with a roll away. Breakfast in the lounge consists usually of omelets and scrambled eggs with either bacon and sausages or ham. They have an assortment of pastires and breads as well as fruit and all manner of drinks. First time visiting Seoul so it was very... more
I stayed at the Grand intercontinental only to be terribly disappointed. Not sure if its custom in Korea but I had to pay for my room's toothbrush and razor blade. What is worse is the hotel STOLE my shirt in my room. For the same price, you can stay across the street at the park hyatt more
Dear travel12345_7, at the InterContinental Hotels in Seoul, we have a habit of scanning travel websites to learn from our customer's feedback and I was obviously very surprised to read your comment about us stealing from you. I can understand that you are surprised that the hotel charges for providing toothbrushes or shaving kits but unfortunately, due to Korean regulations,...
