As other say - it was just OK. Room was not very large, balcony was terrible, bad view, windy. Executive floor, but not up to par. The exe. lounge was just so-so; not big enough to handle all the people there. Not worth the money paid. Location wasn't that great, but it was better than some of the other hotels. more

We stayed at the Conrad Cairo as part of our luxury tour of Egypt and we were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and immaculate and I loved the high ceilings and private balcony. Our tour booked us a room on one of the execute floors and we enjoyed a complementary breakfast and delicious appetizers in the execute lounge. The... more

It is an O.K Hotel. A lot of the people were very nice but there were quite a few that were less than nice. We usally stay in Hilton Hotels and often at Conrads. Again it was o.k but not great. There was a manager by the name of Rasha and she was well... less than polite. The Lounge was... more

As you walk into the hotel lobby you will have to walk through a metal detector. Nice. This hotel was not one I felt very safe in and overall there was nothing much to it. As a woman who was travelling by herself, it's an awful feeling to always be looking around to see who may be behind you. This... more

I have spent over a month at the Conrad and can truly say it is an EXCELLENT hotel, in every single aspect. The service is flawless, the restaurants are very good, pool & gym are nice and everything is well maintained. Over the past weeks, I have used every single service in the hotel (laundry, room service, massage, concierge, travel... more

My wife and I stayed at the Cairo Conrad for four nights in early May 2008. Our stay was related to our Insight Egyptian Elegance tour. We were impressed with the clean rooms, helpful service, good food and elegant feel. Here's some tips: - Room choice: We stayed in rooms on both the north and south side of the hotel.... more

We recently stayed twice at the Conrad Cairo; at the beginning and end of our Egyptian holiday. Each time we occupied two executive rooms as we were travelling with our teenage daughters. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable that I have ever slept on. I travel frequently and have spent a lot of time in five star hotels... more

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a business trip. Upgraded to the executive floors for (a) better view (b) breakfast each morning and (c) somewhere to conduct meetings outside the lobby area. Overall, a very nice hotel. The rooms were olde-worlde with tall ceilings and a sense of spaciousness that is hard to come by. The room service... more

This place is such a contrast to the Cairo outside. I was surprised at the recent posting of a bad review. Yes, you pay 2% for having chagres billed to your room and the hotel add 4% for arranging things like the tour (which is not part of the hotel, they just operate there, so you could by-pass the hotel... more
