Not clean, not nice, run down communual kitchenette, fine for students who aren't fussy about the standard of accommodation as it is 2 mins walk from the museum, very central. I tried to arrange my hotels on a budget and ended up in this hotel after having been told that it was 2 star price for 5 star accommodation, LOL.... more

Hotel Arabesque is situated in a run-down concrete building, so we were surprised to see the interiors some floors up. Looks recently refurbished. Some rooms are noisier than others, but no matter where you stay you hear the traffic on the Hiway '6th of October. The breakfast is not worth the wait. if you are looking for good value comfortable accomodation in downtown cairo then this is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and you can enjoy the superb view of cairo from their 6th floor location. Near to the museums and close to the bus terminal. more
