Fith year coming back to Luxor, and would normally stay in the Pavillion Wing at the W.Palace, but this year we went for the Sonesta. Clean comfortable rooms, really very good poolside service (better than Winter Palace which is almost non-existent), though the pools at the Winter Palace are better. There is extensive building work, but there is more noise... more
This was our third stay at The Sonesta in the last 2 years, we were delighted yet again by the service and friendliness of all the staff. The Sonesta is having extensive building work, this didn't cause us any problems at all. Bed linen is changed daily and towels twice daily. The Lotus cafe is open 24/7 offering a reasonable... more
I first stayed at the Sonesta St. George in mid June and was initially quite impressed when I went there. Staff seemed to be attentive and professional. Rooms are good, pool area is good and the breakfasts are also pretty nice with fresh and NOT cheap carton juice. So on my last day I tipped all the breakfast staff and... more

The interior is stunning and restaurant service faltless. Our kids and we loved our stay so much, taking felluca rides from the hotel,... more

Hotel’s first impressions were impressive, in the lobby there is a dazzling chandelier, room was okay carpet was a bit worn TV only worked on a few channels which were fuzzy a bit fussy but... more

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Sonesta. It was very hot - reaching 56 degrees around the pool area! It is a great hotel. The staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you. We ate in the japenese, italian and main buffet restaurants and found these all high quality and reasonable prices (about £10... more
