My first trip to Egypt so was not sure what to expect. Was entirely an exceptional choice of hotel and was walking distance from some of the main tourist attractions at Luxor. The rooms are standard of what you can expect from Hilton with all the necessary mod coms. The most wonderful thing is that the hotel is situated on... more

This was my 1st time in Egypt and agreat experience. The hotel did try to palm us off with a twin room but after pointing out the mistake was given a king size room! The food was gorgeous at both restraunts probably ate at the Italian 8 times in two weeks delicious! Try the thai curries in The Manderin restaurant... more

I have been visiting Egypt for 23 years and have stayed in Hotels from Aswan to Alexandria and worked in Cairo. As a result I have stayed in some of the most beautiful and some too horrific to talk about. My family and myself have returned to the Hilton in Luxor on numerous occassions and have found that nothing was... more

My daughter and I stayed at the luxor. It was just ok. The room wallpaper was tearing off the wall. We got bed bug bites on our feet legs and arms. Other than that it was a ok stay more

Have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday, staying at the Luxor Hilton. It is a tired and weary Hilton, desparately needing the refurbishment that starts next week. However, our all inclusive deal was a bargain - the food was excellent and the staff treated us like royalty. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are constantly asking if they... more

I had stayed at this hotel back in 2001 and was extremely dissapointed this time around. It is definetely not a 5 star hotel anymore. The rooms are still very clean, the swimmming pool kept in good condition but recent refurbishment works have turned most of the gardens of the hotel into a building site. The creation of two more... more

The Luxor Hilton is a lovely hotel. We returned last week after seven days spent sunbathing and chilling! The weather was gorgeous, the staff were extremely friendly and the hotel grounds were clean and pretty. We were all inclusive, this was quite confusing as unlike other all inclusive resorts i have stayed at, not everything is all inclusive! There are... more

We read the reviews before leaving the UK and decided to book just 2 days but ended up staying for 6 as it was a great place to be, the rooms were clean with fruit, water, tea and coffee, the staff were great and the views fabulous. The food was OK if you don't mind buffet style meals. However they... more

I have Hilton Diamond status,so I've seen a lot of Hiltons the world over and while this one seemed a bit tired and in need of an update, the staff was great and overall was an excellent bargain. Two pieces of my luggage did not arrive in Cairo and the bell staff tirelessly checked after them to see that we... more

hilton Luxor was a great hotel. I was a bit cautious about the trip when I'd read all the various reviews but I really had a great time. You don't notice the frayed carpets that's pretty funny to be honest. It's a great hotel, breakfast buffet is great. Dinner buffet not so good but still pleasant. Hilton is in a... more
