we have just returned from a two week stay hotel very clean but no daylight in any of the rooms,as for the food it left a lot too be desired like boiled rice every day no choice of menu ,pool was not heated so was freezing cold more

The hotel is well situated--about 10 minute walk to Luxor Temple, restaurants, etc. Like almost all hotels in Egypt there is hotel security present as well as tourist police. It is very clean and there are really nice views from the roof top pool area. All the staff were very polite and helpful with everything that we required. more

The Hotel Philippe was in a great location and a good value for the price. The top floor has a beautiful pool area and is a wonderful place to sit and relax. We stayed at the Phillipe for three nights in July 05 as part of a month trip backpacking around Egypt. We stayed in room #504 which had been totally renovated.
