Just returned from yet another fab holiday to Kenya. It is my ninth time visiting this lovely country. Bamburi Beach Hotel is quiet as are most hotels on the north coast, but there was still a full programme of entertainment (lots of it provided by the animation team). Foods was great. Maybe not as much choice as usual but still... more

Taking into consideration the troubles at the beginning of the year in Kenya our tour operator, Thomas Cook, cancelled our holiday at Bamburi Beach. Not to be deterred and believing that the troubles were not affecting tourists we rebooked the same holiday through Somak. Part of our holiday was to be our Wedding which was to be held at Bamburi... more

We stayed here last year and would definitely not go back. The room was too small for three sharing, with nowhere to put our belongings we never even managed to unpack properly. Though it was cleaned every day and the air conditioning worked. As three females on holiday we found the staff surly and unhelpful for the most part, getting... more

Jambo! We were 4 adults and two teenage boys travelling together to Bamburi to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The flight with My travel airways from Stockholm/ Arlanda was ok. We had paid for better legroom on the flight and Iam so glad we did. Charterflights are like a sardincan. The hotel is a 3 star all inclusive. It is... more
