I would not recommend this hotel. We were there for our honeymoon after 7 days on safari and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The pictures on their website and on their brochures show pictures of beautiful beaches....well the pictures are of a sand bar located a few minutes from the hotel by boat. We stayed at Funzi for the relaxing half of our honeymoon having been on a safari in Kenya. Coming from the Kuoni World Class brochure and knowing the price for this resort we were bitterly disappointed. Let me compare. This was the last leg of our honeymoon after the Mara and Elsa's Kopje. It is described as an ideal island getaway. In reality, it is not an island. It is not 5* luxury either.
