We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Renaissance Hotel, Kowloon and thought i would share my thoughts with other travellers. Firstly, we found the check in process to be very unorganised. There was 3 of us travelling and we had booked only 1 room through our travel agent. However, on arrival we were told that 2... more

I spent 3 nights at the Renaissance Kowloon on business in April. It was my first trip to Asia and I had arrived in Hong Kong from Manila. After experiencing the huge rooms at the Peninsula Manila, I was a bit surprised at how small the rooms were at the Renaissance, but understand valuable real estate is in Hong Kong.... more

Wow! Talk about hospitality. They really know how to treat customers. The restaurants are also rather amazing, although unlike hotel restaurants here they tend to attract the locals as well, who can be very boisterous. If the locals like it, it must be something. more

Great location. Connected to shopping centre with grocery store and the subway station and bus stops are right in front of the hotel. Minutes from all the shopping malls, planetarium, ferry station. Room we were in was very spacious. Great friendly staff. Club lounge was nice and I enjoyed the breakfast tea they served. I think the lounge is open... more

EXCELLENT PROPERTY! You wont be dissappointed staying here! I have just returned from staying 5 nights in this property 5-10 April 08. I am a Travel Agent from Australia and extremely fussy when it comes to my own personal bookings. My choice of hotel has to be of a VERY good standard, great rate and excellent location. After MUCH research... more

The location is convenient, just next to a subway stop although finding the stop was a bit confusing. We stayed on the club level which included breakfast, happy hour and late night desserts. Staff was extremely helpful. Not sure if the club level was worth the extra money. We were upgraded to a junior suite. Room was really big with... more

In february thanks to a business trip, I had to spend 3 nights in this hotel. Reading the reviews, I was convu=inced that the hotel is okay. The first surprise was the 16 degrees in the room and the heating, which was not working. My colleagues had the same experience: terribly cold, room without heating. Secondly, the hotel needs very... more

Normally, we (wife and I) stay at the Intercontinental. This time, we were not able to, so we decided to stay at the Marriott in the New World Center. The reasons were two: I had seen the lobby on a previous trip and it looked decent, and the Marriott is close enough to the Intercontinental that we could still use... more

We selected this hotel as it is very central, and time in HK was short After complaining of a smelly room, we were relocated on 5th. floor to a deluxe room. Cannot really fault room or hotel staff as they were very efficient and friendly. we had juices and coffee(all types IE: short black, cappacino and ordinary) in copious quantities... more
