Generally clean, tidy, relaxing atmosphere and fair value. Good location. Don´t be fooled by ´American style breakfast` (its actually just an egg!). Concerns over state of bathroom which was in need of decoration. more

Hostal Mallqui is a charming place to stay near the main plaza in Cusco. We most appreciated the excellent service on behalf of the staff; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to accommodate us. Hostal Mallqui is the latest addition to the Amaru Hostal Group in the ancient Inca and colonial Spanish city of Cusco. You couldn't ask for better, low-cost accommodations before or after a visit to Machu Picchu. Avoid the online brokers and make your reservation directly.
