I thought we had a great deal by booking on the hotel website where if you booked 3 nights, the 4th is free, and in that respect that was a good deal. We booked the over-water bungalow. On our 4th trip to Tahiti we thought a new hotel would be a nice change, but really our 1st choice was all... more

We traveled to Tahiti as one of our stops on our honeymoon. When we arrived at our hotel we were very disappointed. The hotel is miles from the airport, and quite expensive to get to. When we arrived we checked in easily only to walk into a room of disgust. The room was awful. The room has not been updated... more

My husband and I just stayed at the Le Meridien for our honeymoon and loved it! We were a apprehensive about staying there because of all the negative reviews, but when we arrived at the hotel everything was great. The food was good, the service was outstanding, and the rooms were very nice and clean. There was no smell anywhere... more

We just returned from Tahiti and stayed at the Le Meridien Hotel. The stay was absolutely magnificant. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond their duties to make sure me and my wife were comfortable. One of their hostess at the front desk even lent her personal camera battery charger, when ours didn't work. The front desk staff,... more

We stayed at Le Meridien for one day before our Regent Tahiti cruise. We disliked it very much. The lobby was ok, but it looked like an '80s throwback. All the general areas of the hotel looked old, worn and unclean. The whole place seemed to lack energy. Strangely our mood and own energy level were. We felt drained. We... more

The staff were very friendly. There was absolutely no smell at all in the hotel or the room. Toilet(which is in its own room) maybe a little septic smell, but only there, and it was not bad. No ants, roaches or mosquito's in the OWB. Wearing deet on any island is a MUST!!! There is a grocery store just outside... more

We only stayed here two nights, but our room was in good condition, we were treated well and the scenery was beautiful. It was clean and very nice both inside and outside. We would definitely go back to this hotel and stay again. more

We were forced to stay here after Air Tahiti Nui cancelled our flight to Los Angeles. Incidentally if you can avoid flying with Air Tahiti then do so because their service and staff are the most unprofessional we have ever experienced but that’s another story and a very long one! The hotel lobby looked quite nice but our room, although... more

My husband and I had a very nice time at Le Meridien Tahiti. The hotel is not brand new, but is still in quite good condition. Our room was a fair size and we did not have any problems with ants as some other reviewers had, although we did have a few random little bugs and a tiny lizard sneak... more

Crap. That's what this hotel is. Crap. First is the odor. When I hit the buffet/dining area downstairs from the lobby, the first thing that hits you is notice is the smell. It smelled like a highway rest stop bathroom pee smell. Bad. Second are the rooms. Ants. The beds are horrible. Two twin beds pushed together to make a... more
