I stayed at Los Robles in May.Rooms are set round a courtyard with fountain and greenery. My room was large, but dark and painted a dingy beige.Nice colonial style furniture. Tiny tv. No fridge. Los Robles is a small hotel located in one of the best areas of Managua. My room was quiet and comfortable - a little dark, but this was actually a blessing in that sunny, steamy city. I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It was a lovely and relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a very safe and convenient area. Before our trip to Nicaragua, back in the States, we knew no better and booked at Los Robles for a one night stay. The cost was $97 ($85+tax), which is a ridiculous amount of money for Nicaragua. Most of the other hotels -- those that are non commercial -- were in the $40 to $50 range, which is more appropriate... more
