Stayed here for two nights over the 4th of July weekend, as it was the only place we could find rooms. Reservation had to be cancelled becuase of weather - all flights going to Nantucket were cancelled that day. Hotel manager (Alex) refused to refund our money, and said we could re-book, but they had no availability. Lost $550 with these jerks. more

The Beachside is a run down motel where everything is old, dirty and stained. I can't believe it is owned by the same people who own the White Elephant! Attended a wedding on Nantucket. Groom's parents picked this place for our group. Lots of unhappy campers. Plus there were problems with the arrangements at the bar. We stayed in a room that had no hot water in the shower but did have hot water in the sink. The place is not very clean. Cigarette butts all over the place.... more
