This is the best spot to stay on the island. Location is less than a mile into town and a mile to the beach. Clean rooms, well air conditioned, beautiful pool, great continental breakfast. Staff and friendly and helpful. If you want an old room in a bed and breakfast with no air conditioning and lots of rules, don't come... more

Stayed here for two nights over the 4th of July weekend, as it was the only place we could find rooms. I know why...rooms are dirty, damp (doesn't appear to have much circulation in teh bathrooms) and pretty depressing. Got bit by bugs both nights (not bed bugs, but something else). it's a fine location- 10 minute walk from town... more

HI, My husband and I stayed there last year and enjoyed the facility and the location, it is a 15 minute walk from town but only a 2 min. bike ride which we did this year. The accommodations are fine for what the motel is, it is not a bed and breakfast so people have to remember that. The continental... more

After reading some of the very poor reviews, I feel the need to set the record straight about the Beachside. My family and I have been staying at the Beachside for the past almost ten years and feel that it is the best bargain on Nantucket. It's not the Ritz but how much time are you really planning on spending... more

I made reservations here before reading the reviews, and I became very worried and tried to cancel and book elsewhere for Daffodil Weekend. I would have lost 50% of the price paid, I figured for a night we will take the risk and hope for the best. It seems that they have updated the motel a bit, the linens, furniture,... more

Reservation had to be cancelled becuase of weather - all flights going to Nantucket were cancelled that day. Hotel manager (Alex) refused to refund our money, and said we could re-book, but they had no availability. Lost $550 with these jerks. more

The Beachside is a run down motel where everything is old, dirty and stained. I can't believe it is owned by the same people who own the White Elephant! The room was ready early which was a plus and the continental breakfast was enough to get us going in the morning. The staff was actually very nice and helpful but... more

The Beachside in Natucket was TERRIBLE. The sheets were stained, the bathrooms had mold in the showers, and they did not clean your room until 4pm! The service is horrible. The only nice thing about the Beachside is the location to the town. Other than that, it was one of the Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would... more

We recently stayed here while in town for a wedding, and it was awful. It calls itself an inn, but is really a motel. Not only are the rooms dirty, but the bathrooms are literally rotting and falling apart. Our sheets were stained, our toilet broke within minutes of entering the bathroom for the first time, and the bathroom was... more

Attended a wedding on Nantucket. Groom's parents picked this place for our group. Lots of unhappy campers. Plus there were problems with the arrangements at the bar. We stayed in a room that had no hot water in the shower but did have hot water in the sink. The place is not very clean. Cigarette butts all over the place.... more
