We stayed at the Plaza in early July. Everything the previous reviews said was true for us--the rooms were dirty, only one elevator worked (although they seemed to work on the other one loudly and constantly) and the the staff (with one exception see below) were indifferent. Stayed in this "hotel" whilst working in Alex. This rates as one of the if not the worst hotel I've ever had to stay in. I stayed here for a week while working in Alexandria. This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.
