The opulence of the hotel cannot be captured by photo. It has to be experienced. The beauty is very understated. The food in each restaurant is second to none and the service is fantastic (even in the buffet restaurants). The pool is huge and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The pool waiting staff are friendly and pander to your every... more

We have just returned from a week at the "One and Only" with Virgin Holidays. What a briliant hotel. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and I can honestly say that this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. (I cannot understand the previous comments from "Lady P" what hotel did she go to,... more

This is without question the best hotel I have ever stayed in the world, closely followed by its sister hotels Le Saint Geran and Le Touessrok on Mauritius. If you can't have a fantastic time at this hotel, there is something seriously wrong with you.The atmosphere and service is second to none. If you want a great time make sure... more

Just came home today from two weeks in the Gold club at The Royal Mirage Palace. We had returned this year after staying at the hotel 4 years ago for our honeymoon and were certainly not dissappointed. The hotel was still fantasic! The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. The hotel is excellently maintained. The Gold club is... more

The pool was amazing, as was the beach - sea so warm, great activities at hotel also, but not over the top, eg volly ball, badminton tournaments. We were not... more

We stayed here for 4 nights before moving on to Mina A Salam. The hotel is immaculate, the grounds of the hotel are simply perfect. The pool is enormous, yet because the hotel is quite small in comparison to others in the areas, it never appears busy with guests. A lovely touch is the moment you arrive at the pool... more

From arrival to departure this was the best vacation imaginable From the sound of the gong the experience is far beyond your expectations.A must is an upgrade to the gold club, which is only a small charge. This gets you afternoon tea ,unlimited soft drinks and ,spirits cocktails between 6 and 8 so if your careful and book your tables for 8.30... more

We stopped at the Royal Mirage for 3 nights on our way back from the Maldives. The hotel is fabulous definitely worth its 5 stars. The pool and hotel are very beautiful. The hotel is at the base of the palm (being built out to sea) so there isn’t much of a view out to sea. There is a lot... more

Brilliant hotel. Lovely big rooms, balcony overlooking gardens and pool. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars on site. We tried Nina's, Olives, beach grill, Eau Zone and the rooftop courtyard. All brilliant! Food and drink not expensive bearing in mind 5* status. Can't fault anything, would def go back. more
