The best thing about the Michigan League is its location in the middle of campus. The building also has a certain amount of charm and the rooms while not modern are pleasant enough updates of a dorm room. The court yard is truly charming. We often put up out of town guests at "the League," as it is known to locals. It's right on campus, in a working and functioning classic campus building that was originally the women's answer to the Michigan Union, back when women weren't allowed to use that male-only building. The Michigan League was horrible. I was woken up by noise in or near the hotel twice during the night. The service was unprofessional, and the hotel was very over priced. I would NEVER stay there again, nor advise any stranger or friend to stay there. more
