I've read some of the other reviews and understand some of the comments about reading lights and dingy bathrooms. For me though this was more than compensated by beautiful gardens, swimming pool and restaurant. I loved the winding walk through greenery to our room and the pool was a lifesaver after a day's touring the temples. The location is very... more

An oasis in busy Siem Reap! Bopha Angkor provides a lush, green getaway from all the scooters and tuk-tuks. Our room was clean and airy and reasonably priced. The pool was a nice diversion for hot afternoons. The breakfast was very hearty and became our primary meal of the day - serious eating! The restaurant was also good for dinner,... more

Not at all happy with this hotel - over rated ! Booked via web page to stay for 5 nights... When I arrived I was shown a dark, dinghy room. The bathroom was even worse, i couldnt even see my face in the mirror, with the light on ! I was shown 2 other rooms and all were much the... more

We stayed at the Bopha Angkor for 5 nights in April, and our experience was wonderful. We had chosen this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews, and because it was also relatively inexpensive for a hotel with a pool. Given that we were touring in the hottest of months, the pool seemed like a good idea. At $53 a night,... more

Had a great stay here when visiting the temples. Lovely location right next to the river, gorgeous gardens and pool area, HUGE bed and good food. Staff very friendly, only downside was pre-arranged arrival pick-up didn't materialise, but they billed me for it anyway. Not to worry, met my driver, Mr Thy, as a result and was well looked after... more

Great little hotel. My review reinforces the few recent reviews. I stayed for four days. Very comfortable room. The restaurant was very good. Friendly, professional staff. Good location, walking distance to central, but far away to avoid all of the noise. I will go back. more

I chose this hotel based on good trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed! Great small property in a central location. The restaurant was actually the best I went to in Siem Reap, and I did try quite a few different places. The service there was also very good. The rooms are nice, not amazing, but they have pretty cool... more

We stayed at the Bopha for 4 days and would go there again. The location is simply beautiful, everything is surrounded by tropical plants. The room was spacious and clean and had a private veranda that overlooked the nice pool area. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the Bopha restaurant twice, which was delicious but... more

Well, let me start with the bad. We had money stolen (about $160) from our room, but we have to share responsibility for not putting it in the complimentary room safe. I guess it was a lesson to never trust anyone. We reported the theft to the front desk and they stated the General Manger would look into it later... more
