On a two week business trip to China, this was the best hotel of the trip. Great location. Friendly staff. Large comfortable and clean room. Good Breakfast. Too bad that my stay at this hotel was only two nights because this city wourd be very interesting to explore. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xiamen. more

This must be the most friedly hotel I stayed in China during my May trip, 24 nights and 11 hotels. Not the occasional friendly hotel staff but everyone I meet. Stayed here for two nights as part of a business trip - this hotel was selected by my colleagues in Xiamen. Everything was excellent - check-in, reception, staff, room, bar, restaurant. I really liked the room which had glass walls between the bed part and the bathroom. Could not recommend it more highly. more

The Sheraton Xiamen is perhaps the finest hotel I have ever stayed in. The experience starts with an absolutely opulent lobby, and it just gets better. The front office staff are amazing, and are able to cater to Americans and other Non-Chinese speakers with ease. Very friendly staff, spacious and clean. Delightful breakfast. Exceeded my expectations. The local business I was visiting booked the hotel for me -- i was a little hesitant since it was a Sheraton -- but they certainly knew what they were doing. Highly recommended. Stayed here for 2 nights and it was probaby the best hotel I stayed at in China and a good rate. I must admit I thought the gold towers were a bit gaudy but the rooms (beds!) were fabulous with nice views. I ordered room service and it came quickly, was great and hot. Great pool/workout area. This is a first class hotel, service, food, decor, location. New, clean, superb - really really good. There are many wonderful hotels in Xiamen and this is probably the best. I recommend it highly best hotel buffet in South China!!!!! more

Xiamen's Sheraton is a gleaming gold tower lost in the mixed residential and business district at the center of the island.
