A note to the owner of Mahadev Palace - you have successfully hired the most inept bunch of missfits this side of Dubai - congratulations as these sorry sack of souls perfectly suit your deplorable establishment. The hotel is situated outside the fort, with a rickshaw about 10 minutes. If you like the quiet environment the location of the hotel is not bad. However, the rooms are very old fashioned. Our travel agent selected this hotel for us. It's not a palace, but the rooms are very clean and the staff was responsive to our requests for extra sheets (they provide bottom sheets, but no top sheets unless you ask). the shower didn't work, tv didn't work, cockroach in the bathroom, no water in the pool...when we went downstairs for some breakfast we realized the buffet didn't exist. We asked for a menu and a guy just said "no"......i gave him an awkward stare and then left....im surprised this place is still in business more
