I simply wanted somewhere for one night for a cheap price while visiting the Taj Mahal, and the Sheela Inn ticked the boxes. It is clean. There's a friendly welcome. It's an easy walk from the Taj. We stayed here for a couple of nights in Nov. Very average hotel, arrived about 9am after an overnight train journey, checked in, tried to have a shower, but no hot water. Sheela Inn and Hotel Sheela are run by the same helpful staff. Hotel Sheela is next to the Taj Mahal East Gate entrance whereas this Sheela Inn is down the road a bit. We booked a room by contacting the hotel directly via e-mail. After a two week delay we finally were confirmed.
