Stayed in Ubud village Hotel in November last year. The location of Hotel is great but the rooms and toilets are pretty worn out. The basin has stains and outlet cover is rusty. The wc section have a stench of urine smell and the room is poorly lit by a white flourescence tube and some PL lights. Floor is dusty.... more

The room was lovely with a view to the rice fields.The food at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. It was very central to shopping, markets, palace, monkey forest etc. We only stayed for 3 nights but we had a lovely time in Ubud. more

We found our stay in may at the ubud village hotel to be just wonderful. On a budget this trip with the kids we found it to be inexpensive but with excellent facilities and the best in rooms. This was the 7th time in six years we stayed in the Ubud Village Hotel. We always find a warm welcome. The kind staff feels almost as family. We like the rooms which are good and not expensive. It was just right. The atmosphere 100%. The forest at the back door. The outdoor bathrooms and living rooms were so "Bali" it was super. So central I could shop and Geoff could swim and we were only a few minutes apart. The markets were not far; great all day but amazing early in the morning with all the produce.... more
