For the second time in thailand. From north to south we were guest of many hotels slh-lhw, each with its beatiful features....but our house thai is without doubt the refuge of traveller ( the tubkaak) , the only htl where we were two times and that if we go back in thai certainly return. it is true that the sea... more

We stayed at the Tubkaak as part of our honeymoon and when I read the last review I thought did we stay in the same place! Yes, this hotel is a boutique resort away from the hustle and bustle but if you want chill out time I don't think it gets much better than this. Personally, I like a good... more

This was our 5th visit to Thailand and the first 4 times were wonderful as we stayed in K'oh Samui. This was our first time to Krabi and we will not be going back. I honestly have no idea how this could be the #1 hotel on Trip Advisor as I can't even begin to remember all the negatives -... more

We were greeted with exceptional service, the staff were relaxed and calm yet very professional. We found our deluxe room to be spacious, and I enjoyed reading a book on the balcony while overlooking the pool. My husband and I relaxed in our outdoor bath and experienced various massages at The Spa which we found therapeutic and envigorating. We spent... more

We stayed at the Tubkaak for four nights and had a very enjoyable time. First the negatives: it is a boutique resort and as such there is a limited choice of restaurants - in fact only one. Not a problem for four days but could be a problem if you were looking for more variety in the short term or... more

After a busy three weeks of traveling about SE Asia, what a joy to end my travels at the stylish and peaceful Tubkaak. The hotel is quite lovely and beautifully appointed - small details add to the overall delightful impression. Of course the fine and attentive staff added much to the stay and Patty and Sonny are the consummate hosts.... more

There are plenty praises written about this hotel in all previous reviews, and with due merit. WHAT an amazing property and a great stay. Staying at the Tubkaak is total bliss, especially if coming from Bangkok or any of the other big chaotic Asian cities. the property is perfectly designed and laid out, keeping well with nature and its surroundings.... more

My boyfriend and I spent 6 wonderful nights at the Tubkaak at the beginning of April and had a fabulous time. First impressions as you arrive are a little daunting as you have to drive through a working gypsum mine and there seems to be a lot of construction/industry in the are. Then you turn the corner and find a... more

The title of our review sums the Tubkaak up. We racked our brains on our last day trying to think of one thing that we could complain/change about the Tubkaak and there was nothing. Everything is thought about and catered for from insect repellent and mosquito plugs in your room to flip flops and towels ready packed for your trip... more

Stayed 5 nights to finish off honeymoon. Brilliant chillout Was sunny + humid in the day and generally rainy at night. Highlights Fantastic sunsets (even when it was rainy, lightning was cool to watch) Design - It is different to other hotels "inspired" by design of local boats - Attention to detail eg rooms have wooden bars to lock the... more
