Hyatt Regency is a nice big hotel. So big that every morning between 8 to 10am there is a 10-20 minutes cue to get into the lobby coffee shop for the buffet breakfast. The wait is worth it though. Good buffet. They offer breakfast in the 27th floor but not as extensive. They also have the Japanese restaurant in the... more

Having stayed before when it was the Century Hyatt, I was aware this hotel had about 100 very small sub-standard single rooms which are only suitable for a Japanese-style business hotel. So when it was proposed for a recent business trip, I informed the agent I would only use the newly renamed Hyatt Regency if I was in a normal-sized... more

We recently visited the Hyatt Regency in Tokyo for 3 nights and i must say i wasnt overly impressed. We had just come from the Hyatt Regency in Kyoto and it was not in the same class (see Kyoto review- thoroughly enjoyed it!). Nonetheless, the staff were reasonably friendly, the location quiet and fairly convenient. The bathroom was a bit... more

Walking into the Century Hyatt inspires travelers with their courteous service. Before you walk into the Century Hyatt, my husband and I were greeted and our bags were taken straight to our rooms. Tips are not something you have to worry either. As Japanese culture, tips are considered an insult. If you decide to travel around Tokyo, the train station... more

Just completed another stay at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo (formerly Century Hyatt) this week . The concierge, front desk and bell service continues to remain impeccable. I havent revisited Tokyo for the past 18mths. And this is my first stay after their name change. They are always courteous and expedient. The hotel is not close to the JR or Tokyo... more

I have stayed at this hotel several times both with my husband on his business trips and on our own holidays. I have never had any complaints to lodge as everything is just so wonderful about the Hyatt brand. It's so conveniently located, a 10 minutes walk to the Shinjuku station and if you are taking the Toei line, it's... more

One of the best and most convenient perks of this hotel was their shuttle service from Shinjuku Station which is one of if not the busiest station in Tokyo. You can pretty much get anywhere from this station. We did find it a little bit difficult to find the bus stop of the shuttle so here's a few tips; From... more

We were travelling with children aged 7 and 9 on route to New Zealand, so decided to make a stop, to break up the journey. we stayed here for 2 nights and it was the perfect place to catch up with the time zone! A large Western style hotel, with big beds and food our 7 year old didn't turn... more

I stayed one night at the Hyatt Tokyo Regency on February 3rd, 2008. Check in was relatively smooth and friendly. I was even upgraded from a standard King room to a View King. The rooms are indeed a bit dated and do need renovation. I would assume the Hyatt group/management do realize this already. The room feels like it's right... more

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. The sound proofing is great. The bathroom is a bit on the small side. Internet is complimentary and a ethernet cord is provided in the drawer. There's a convenient shuttle bus to shinjuku station or you can walk there. The airport limosine bus comes to the hotel and can be reserved at the bell... more
